Puppet Shows can be a very useful teaching aid where children will benefit from the extra dimension a puppet can bring to lessons. It provides a pressure free space that encourages children to learn.
The power puppets have is incredible:
- Puppets help to engage a child's emotions from curiosity through to wonder and joy.
- Puppets promote imaginative play through which all children learn.
- Children get more vocal when there is a puppet around.
- Children that are upset or shy will chat to a puppet that has shown 'interest' in them and tell it things that they may not wish to discuss with an adult.
- Children will go home and tell their parents what they have learned from the puppets that day - and they will look forward to the next lesson!
Puppets teach and persuade!
All our stories have either an educational context or a moral outcome and are presented in a fun packed style.
The aim of Funnatix is to combine education and fun and to nurture a child's imagination, health and social skills.
